Bologna & Cheese Sandwich (January 2nd, 2010)

So day 2 it is and I had a childhood craving. The all American favorite, Bologna & Cheese on white bread w/ Mayonnaise (Preferably Hellmanns). The pic to the left is not the actual sandwich I ate but for those that may have never eaten one (which I find hard to believe), this it what it looks like. I got it from a deli down by the South Street Seaport. I forgot the name of the spot but I will be eating there more because I am in the area a lot. I will grab a menu and scan it, get pics etc in the future . Anyhow, the one I ate had much more meat and cheese (American Yellow Cheese). In fact it was too much meat. You want slightly more Bologna than the picture shown but not so much you feel like your eating a bologna steak. There was not enough mayo and the bread was kind of dry. kind of messed up my craving and left me hungry for something else. Soon I will have another child hood craving but I wont tell you what it is but feel free to leave a message for your suggestions.
